004. ORIGIN. EXPLAINED. A MATTER OF FIT
16/08/2026
A garment can be made from the finest fabric and finished with the smallest details, but ultimately, much of its character comes down to the way it fits.
How do we consider fit?
At Origin., fit is considered from the very beginning. The length of a garment, the width through the chest, and the way it falls on the body all contribute to its final silhouette.
This means that not every piece is designed to fit in exactly the same way.
Our Tees have a relaxed silhouette, with more room through the chest. The Sweaters are designed with an even more generous fit, creating a naturally relaxed shape. Our Half Zip sits slightly closer to the body, while maintaining enough room for comfortable movement.
These differences are intentional. Each garment has its own proportions, designed around the character of the piece.
So, how can I get my perfect fit?
For the fit we intended, we recommend choosing your usual size.
If you are unsure, our size guide includes both body and garment measurements. Comparing these measurements with a piece you already own and enjoy wearing, is often the best way to find the right size.
Because in the end, the right fit is not simply about a number on a label.
It is about how a garment feels when you wear it.
